FIRST: Register Your Team!
Form a team to represent your business, government agency, military unit, school, club, neighborhood, church, or family - any group of four or more riders or volunteers can be a team.
If you haven't yet registered, select the Registration button on the navigation bar on the left side of this page or register the day of the event using the registration form.
Indicate on the registration form your team name and the team leader's name.
Recruit at least 3 other people to join you as either riders or volunteers.
Begin team building immediately:
Start with people you know are cyclists.
Ask your co-workers to join you in this adventure.
Ask fellow club members to experience the Tour of the Ozarks.
Ask your friends to enjoy this fun and challenging event.
Ask your family to ride with you.
Each team member must register individually and provide the team name. Here's How:

4:00pm - 8:00 pm Registration at the Centre
Saturday, September 22
5:30 am Registration Opens
7:00 am 50 & 100 Mile rides begin
8:00 am 12 & 25 Mile rides begin
6:00 pm Course closed (sunset 7:14 pm)
SECOND: Recruit Team Members!
Try some of these ideas to recruit team members...
- Set-up a strategy meeting...
- Invite your biggest team players and set your goals!
- Schedule a Kick-off Party...
- Plan a party to recruit team members. We'll be happy to come by and talk to your guests about the Tour of the Ozarks and the Diabetes Education Fund. We'll bring flyers, donation sheets and all the information you'll need to get your team excited about TOTO.
- Decorate the office...
- Put brochures everywhere - hang posters on all bulletin boards and even in rest rooms. Make a TOTO shrine at your desk complete with brochures and a pledge sheet. Set out a cup for spare change.
- Spread the word...
- Tell everyone you know!
- Send out regular e-mails to update your friends and contributors on your progress.
THIRD: Raise Money!
Write letters to friends and family - use your Christmas card list and let everyone know what you are going to do.
- Ask your neighbors, co-workers, and local businesses - everyone is eligible! Where do you spend money? You support them, now give them the opportunity to support you!
- E-mail everyone in your e-mail address book - ask people to sponsor you or join you!
- Keep the sponsor sheet with you at all times! You never know when or where you'll meet a potential sponsor!
- Demonstrate your commitment by writing YOUR name on the first line of the sponsor sheet!
- Get the donation when you get the commitment! Only donations brought in on the day of the ride will be credited towards a prize.
- See if your company offers matching funds to non profit organizations.
